Dr. Robert Chase
Dr. Robert Chase is generally amiable and eager to please his boss, particularly if in doing so he’s also protecting his own interests. A former seminary student, Chase’s early life was one of privilege, but it was also marked by the death of his alcoholic mother and the failings of his renowned doctor father. Chase was estranged from his father when he learned of his death from lung cancer.
Dr. Eric Foreman
Dr. Eric Foreman is member of Dr. Gregory House’s diagnostic team at Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital. He’s the most senior of House’s fellows, and though he renounces his mentor’s abrasive, whatever-it-takes attitude toward patients, he’s more like House than he’d like to admit. Foreman briefly tried out a sunny and optimistic disposition following a near-death experience, but it didn’t take.
Dr. James Wilson
Dr. James Wilson is the head of the oncology department at Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital. He’s Dr. Gregory House’s best, and arguably only, friend. His bedside manner could be described as the opposite of House’s: compassionate, interested, and empathetic.
Dr. Lisa Cuddy
Dr. Lisa Cuddy is the Dean of Medicine and Hospital Administrator at Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital, a job with myriad responsibilities, not the least of which is sorting through the chaos regularly left in the wake of her hospital’s world-renowned diagnostician, Dr. Gregory House.
Dr. Gregory House
Gregory House
Dr. Gregory House is the world-renowned chief of Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital’s diagnostic department. He is brilliant at solving medical mysteries but unconcerned with social niceties. Rarely speaking to patients, he’s misanthropic and apt to disregard any rules he deems unreasonable.
