Our landscape holds our history. Peel back a layer of sediment and you'll reveal a new layer of history. In this Special, that's exactly what we'll do--- we'll peel back successive layers and reveal the past landscape of New York City. We'll start with the New York of September 11 and go back in time to visit NYC during WW2, the Civil War, the American Revolution, and finally New York during the Ice Age. Each act will bring us farther back in time, until we're roaming with dinosaurs and mammoths where our great city now stand.
