Brother and sister Georgie and Poppy Carlton are heirs to a large country estate in England, enjoying privileged lives as distant descendants of the British royal family. In a bid to grant their father’s dying wish that his children visit the country he loved so dearly, they packed their bags and begin their exploration of the USA.
The “almost royal” siblings – 50th and 51st in line to the throne – have agreed to a camera crew following them on their unconventional royal tour. But while the siblings are actually played by up and coming comedians, the unsuspecting people they encounter have no clue these two aren’t for real.
Cue bemusement across the country as the Carltons get caught up in everything from a rap battle in Detroit to plastic surgery in Los Angeles.
