簡介

Synopsis
Marie Lemaire is poisoned with fentanyl at a dinner for an association of tradespeople. Her business was the largest glassmaking firm in town, inherited from her recently deceased husband, François. All the guests are potential suspects, and the investigators have to disentangle truth from lies, discover the motives, and check alibis.
Olivia Rousseau, one of the guests and former mistress of François Lemaire, whom he jilted to marry Marie, dies several days later at home. A suicide note confesses to poisoning Marie and then herself. The case seems wrapped up, but Deputy Prosecutor Élisabeth Richard’s intuition tells her to keep investigating. An attempt at a third murder lets the investigators unmask the killer...
