Synopsis
Thomas Bareski goes to a village in the Vosges where a young woman has just disappeared. This disappearance reminds him of the murder of the young couple Schal and their baby 6 years earlier, whose case has never been resolved. He finds an almost ghost village, but quite quickly, despite the villagers' mistrust, he manages to find help from the local gendarmerie and the few inhabitants who have not fled the village to solve these murders.

• Was initially slated to shoot between April 6 and May 6, 2020, but filming was delayed to June 20 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

• Eric Cantona bows out. On Tuesday June 1st at 9:05 pm, France 3 will broadcast the fourth episode of its French detective series “The traveler”. The fourth, but also the last for the former football star. Since the launch in spring 2019, Eric Cantona has played the character of Thomas Bareski, a solitary vigilante and former Crim ‘size.
• But as announced by the channel in a press release at the end of the year, the actor will devote himself to other projects and will be replaced from the next episode by Bruno Debrandt (“Engrenages”, “Cain”). He will play a police captain who will continue the mission that Thomas Bareski had given himself: to bring justice to destitute families, desperate not to know the truth about the disappearance of a loved one.
