Synopsis
In A Summer in Tuscany, Laura (Wolke Hegenbarth) discovers a secret of her deceased mother. To make matters worse, her new crush, Alessandro (Kerem Can) is deeply involved. When her mother dies, the fashion journalist Laura (Wolke Hegenbarth) finds a plane ticket to Italy and the address of a hotel in her estate. Once there, she finds out that her mother secretly met with her affair Emanuele della Torre (Rolf Sarkis ) at the same time every year . Laura also has to do professional research in the Italian city of Prato. Chinese workers there produce branded clothing under poor conditions. The Italian Alessandro (Kerem Can ), with whom she still falls in love, is not only the son of Emanuele but also involved in the immoral production.
Synopsis
In the estate of her recently deceased mother, fashion journalist Laura finds a plane ticket to Pisa and the address of a hotel in Lucca. She travels to Italy to find out what her mother has kept from her and her father. In the process, she reveals a secret: once a year, always at the same time in the same place, her mother Gloria met Emanuele della Torre. The two had an affair. Laura falls in love with the lawyer Alessandro della Torre, of all people. This is not just Emanuele's son. He is also involved in the machinations that journalist Laura is interested in for professional reasons: In Prato, around 300,000 Chinese workers produce fashion "Made in Italy" under exploitative conditions - also for European premium labels. Laura gets into a vortex of betrayal and deceit that almost takes away her belief in love.
