Ena在母親的莊園裡找到了塵封多年的信，因此來到祖母Karmela經營的海鮮餐廳。熱情洋溢的老太太歡迎Ena，但Tereza姨媽認為Ena只是為了遺產才現身。她把自己兄弟的死，也就是Ena父親之死，歸咎於Ena和她的母親。
Karmela摔斷腿之後，Ena和Tereza接管處於虧損狀態的餐廳，生意每下愈況，Tereza多次挑起爭端，於是Ena試著用現代做法為餐廳尋找出路。Kamela對此感到憂慮，她擔心傳統消失之後，常客也不再上門。

Unread letters, which Ena finds in her mother’s estate, guide her to her grandmother Karmela’s fish restaurant. The exuberant old lady welcomes Ena with open arms. However, Aunt Tereza thinks she is a legacy hunter. She blames Ena and her mother for the death of Ena’s father, Tereza’s brother.
When Karmela breaks her leg and can’t work, Ena and Tereza take over the business, which is already in the red. The financial situation worsens. Tereza provokes quarrels, so Ena uses modern methods to find a way out for the restaurant. Karmela is horrified, fearing regular guests and tradition will slip away.
In the end, the generational struggle for tradition and renewal brings the whole family closer together. When Ena, after having gone back and forth, finally opens up to the charming fisherman Matej, she finds the great love of her life.
Synopsis
Hotel manager Ena is a young woman who has to run perfectly. It does so until her groom cancels the planned wedding. Now, of all times, the woman from Graz has three weeks of vacation, so she cannot rush to work as usual. Unopened letters happen to fall into the hands of her grandmother Karmela, in which she asks for an answer with warm words.
Why did Ena's late mother hide the letters from her? Does it all have to do with the accidental death of your Croatian father in his homeland? The love sufferer takes flight forward into the past.
At the sea, under the southern sun, she not only meets loving relatives and a warm village community, but also a hostile sister-in-law and a romantically inclined fisherman. When the grandmother suddenly has to go to the hospital she wants Ena and not her own daughter Tereza to run her restaurant. That creates problems and raises new questions.
