Junior MasterChef, is about to take Australia by storm! Over five and a half thousand kids from around the country applied to be apart of this incredible opportunity and now 50 of the nation's most talented young cooks aged 8-12 have the chance to make history - becoming Australia's first Junior MasterChef. Iconic MasterChef judges - George Calombaris, Gary Mehigan and Matt Preston – return to face their most enthusiastic, gifted and unpredictable contestants yet. And joining them at the tasting table will be new judge, celebrity cook and TV personality, Anna Gare. The junior super cooks will battle it out in the MasterChef Kitchen, facing challenges ranging from the technical to the spectacular, and astounding Australia with their amazing skills! They will be inspired and guided by some of the country's top class chefs, and pushed to their culinary limits to show Australia that when it comes to cooking age is just a number! The series will include four Junior Masterclass episodes that will teach and inspire kids and their families to have fun in the kitchen and start frying, beating, stirring, sifting and kneading!
