Competitive cookery: Sit down and dig into this delicious offering on DIVA in June – Top Chef is back with an eighth season of familiar faces and higher stakes. Dive into the competitive, high-pressure environment of world-class cookery as 18 contestants from previous Top Chef seasons return with a hunger to win. It won’t be easy though, not with foul-mouthed celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain as new judge, and a series of intense challenges to take on. A snack that must be eaten without utensils. A gourmet dish to be prepared in 15 minutes. A fish that needs to be cooked without using its meat. These are just some of the obstacles that they will have to overcome in an all-new season that promises to be a mouth-wateringly good time!

主持人/評審-Tom Colicchio

Tom Colicchio

Thomas Patrick又名 "Tom" Colicchio (生於1962年8月15日)，為美國知名主廚。他和人合夥創立了紐約市知名餐廳”Gramercy Tavern”，曾出任合夥人和行政總廚。他也為知名連鎖餐廳” Craft and Colicchio & Sons”的創辦人。Thomas因其優秀的廚藝成就獲贈五面James Beard基金會所頒發的獎牌。至今擔任本節目每季固定班底評審。

Thomas Patrick "Tom" Colicchio (born August 15, 1962) is an American celebrity chef. He co-founded the Gramercy Tavern in New York City, and formerly served as a co-owner and as the executive chef. He is also the founder of Craft and Colicchio & Sons restaurants. Colicchio is the recipient of five James Beard Foundation Medals for cooking accomplishments.  He has been the head judge on every season of the Bravo reality TV show Top Chef.

Gail Simmons

身兼一位專業的烹飪專家，食譜作家、電視名人，並且是”Food & Wine”雜誌的特殊企劃總監，和本節目固定班底評審等多元角色，並且也主持同系列節目《頂尖主廚大對決：Just Desserts》。

Gail Simmons is a trained culinary expert, food writer and television personality, and is the Special Projects Director with Food & Wine magazine. In addition, she is a regular judge on the television show Top Chef and hosts its spin-off, Top Chef: Just Desserts.

Padma Lakshimi

生於1970年9月1日，Padma是位印度籍美國人，曾撰寫過食譜，身兼模特兒、演員和節目主持人等多重角色。她的第一本食譜書”Easy Exotic”讓她獲得1999年Gourmand World Cookbook Awards的「最佳處女作」的獎項殊榮。從2006年實境競賽節目《頂尖主廚大對決》第二季起，一直擔任節目主持人，並曾以本節目提名艾美獎最佳實境節目或實境競賽節目主持人獎。2010年《頂尖主廚大對決》榮獲艾美獎最佳實境競賽節目獎。

Born September 1, 1970, Padma is an Indian American cookbook author, actress, model and television host. Her debut cookbook Easy Exotic won her the "Best First Book" award at the 1999 Gourmand World Cookbook Awards. She has been the host of Top Chef since season two in 2006, for which she received a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program. In 2010, Top Chef won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program.
