大年初五晴朗的好天氣，火上加油助燃了 NFL球迷的熱情，凌晨五點多，近百位狂熱球迷聚集在台北知名運動酒吧銅猴子的外面，等待著一位難求的機會，要參加 ASN運動頻道和銅猴子餐廳合辦的2011年超級盃看球早餐派對。
這是ASN連續第二年在銅猴子舉辦超級盃派對，內行的球迷早在一個月前，就訂滿了所有座位，現場擠得水洩不通，國內各家有線新聞台爭相報導，已經成為台灣春節期間體育界的年度盛事。
為了和大家一起熱情享受超級盃盛宴，三百多位球迷在大年初五一早，聚集在餐廳狂吼狂叫，支持自己喜歡的球隊，現場壁壘分明，加油聲此起彼落。穿著熱情鮮紅的ASN女孩們，七點鐘開戰前也秀了一段勁歌熱舞，讓爆滿的球迷們目不轉睛，揭開了今天超級盃大戰的序幕。
兩支打進超級盃的隊伍都是傳統強隊，擁有聯盟最多六座冠軍的匹茲堡鋼人隊，將再度挑戰紀錄，對上年輕四分衛羅傑斯領軍的綠灣包裝工，這是鋼人隊六年來第三度，也是三年來第二次挺進超級盃。
去年超級盃在美國的收看人數高達一億零六百萬人，創下史上有電視節目的最高收視紀錄。一年一度的超級盃身價高達4.2億美元，比起大家熟知四年才一次的奧運(2.3億)和世界杯足球賽(1.2億)加起來還高，每三十秒的廣告費高達三百萬美元。
老牌勁旅綠灣包裝工隊擁有不少球迷，第一次打進超級盃的年輕四分衛羅傑斯，卻一點都沒有青澀的感覺，傳出三次達陣，率領包裝工隊在第一節就以14:0取得 先機，雖然銅人隊在第二節開始連續三節都有達陣，緊追不捨，但是最後還是以6分落敗。包裝工隊以31:25 險勝鋼人隊，贏得隊史第四座超級盃，也是近14年來首度拿下總冠軍。

Taipei, Feb. 7 American football fans in Taipei took part in an annual ritual in the wee hours of Monday, getting up early and gathering at local sports bars: Brass Monkey, Dan Ryan’s, Tavern, Carnegie’s to watch the biggest game of the year in the United States– the Super Bowl.
A total of about 700 National Football League (NFL) fans spent the morning in these Taipei sports bars drinking beer and watching the ASN broadcast of the Green Bay Packers’ 31-25 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2011 Super Bowl.
The 45th Super Bowl could not have taken place at a better time for local fans, as Monday marked the last day of the six-day Lunar New Year break.
"A Packers’ Super Bowl victory! You can’t find a better way to start a brand new year! " said Wu Ching-chi, who works in Taipei.
ASN, All Sports Network, is the exclusive broadcaster of NFL in Taiwan. The Channel is available on digital cable premium channels on available platforms such as KBRO, CNS, and Dish HD.
On Monday morning, it appeared that most fans in these restaurants were rooting for the Packers, which did not secure victory until the final quarter.
"I would say that the New England Patriots probably have the most fans in Taiwan. But the Patriots were eliminated in the playoffs early this year, so my guess is that there are more fans supporting the tradition-rich Packers in the finals, " said Steve Chen, the anchorman for ASN in Taiwan.
