兒子Jason（喬納斯達斯勒飾）發生嚴重滑板意外之後，攝影師Marlene（安克恩格爾克飾）人生碰上了轉捩點。
Jason的傷勢非常嚴重，必須去瑞士進行特殊復健治療才有復原的希望。Marlene決定親自開車，載著兒子從柏林穿越德國前往瑞士。Marlene的心中有一條清晰的路線，而Jason則竭盡全力讓母親明白人生是需要走彎路的。

Synopsis
The serious skateboarding accident of her daring son Jason (Jonas Dassler) is a turning point in the life of photographer Marlene (Anke Engelke).
When it becomes clear how serious Jason's injuries are, only special rehabilitation in Switzerland can help. Marlene decides to drive her son there herself from Berlin across Germany. While Marlene has a clear route in mind, Jason does everything he can to convince his mother that life takes detours.
